Shipping & Delivery

Our bed frames are oversized furniture pieces and ship using specialized freight carriers to ensure safe handling and delivery.

Estimated shipping timelines vary depending on the product and production schedule. The estimated shipping time is displayed near the Add to Cart button on each product page.

Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information via email so you can monitor the progress of your shipment.


Key Points – Please Read Before Ordering

  • All bed frames are custom-made and final sale.

  • Curbside delivery is included free with all bed frame orders.

  • White Glove delivery is available as an optional upgrade.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the bed frame fits through all access points (doors, hallways, elevators, staircases).

  • Packaging dimensions are listed on each product page to help you verify access before ordering.

  • Freight carriers will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment once your order reaches the local terminal.

  • Additional delivery fees may apply in certain situations.


Pre-Shipment OCOCHI Courtesy Call

After your order is placed, our team will conduct a mandatory Pre-Shipment OCOCHI Courtesy Call before your bed frame leaves the workshop.

This call ensures delivery logistics are confirmed in advance and helps prevent delivery issues.

During the call we will confirm:

  • Delivery address and contact information

  • Selected delivery service (Curbside or White Glove)

  • Entry access including doors, hallways, elevators, and staircases

  • Floor level and elevator availability

  • Any special delivery conditions such as long driveways, restricted access, or high-rise buildings

If special delivery requirements apply, any additional delivery charges will be communicated before shipping and must be confirmed before the bed frame leaves the workshop.

If we are unable to reach you to complete the Courtesy Call, shipment may be delayed until delivery details are confirmed.


Delivery Options

Curbside Delivery – Free (Standard)

Curbside delivery is the standard delivery method for all bed frame orders.

The freight carrier will deliver your order to the curb, driveway, or building entrance.

  • Delivery to curbside or driveway

  • Freight appointment scheduling

  • Protective packaging for safe transit

  • Assembly instructions provided so you can assemble the bed frame yourself

Not Included

  • Delivery inside the home

  • Assembly services

  • Packaging removal

Because bed frames are large and heavy, we recommend having at least two people available to move the components inside and assemble the frame.


White Glove Delivery – $500

White Glove Delivery provides a full in-home delivery and setup experience.

A professional two-person team will deliver the bed frame to the room of your choice, assemble it, and remove the packaging.

Included

  • Delivery inside your home

  • Placement in the room of your choice

  • Professional bed frame assembly

  • Removal of packaging materials

Please ensure the room and pathway are cleared prior to delivery. Delivery teams are unable to move existing furniture not purchased from us.


Rush Production

If you need your bed frame sooner, we offer Rush Production to prioritize your order in our workshop.

Rush Production moves your order to the front of the production queue, allowing it to be crafted and prepared for shipping faster than standard lead times.

Rush Production Fee

  • Bed Frames: $500

Rush Production prioritizes manufacturing time only. Freight transit times remain dependent on the shipping carrier and destination.

Because each bed frame is handmade and custom-built, rush availability may vary depending on production capacity.

Rush Production must be requested and confirmed before your order enters production.


Delivery Scheduling

Once your order arrives at the local freight terminal, the carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment.

  • Deliveries typically occur Monday through Friday during business hours

  • Drivers often call approximately 30 minutes before arrival

  • Carriers provide a delivery window rather than an exact arrival time

Someone must be present to receive the delivery.


Preparing for Delivery

Because our bed frames are larger than standard furniture, please verify that the product can pass through all access points before delivery.

Please measure and confirm:

  • Entry doors

  • Hallways

  • Staircases

  • Elevators

  • Tight corners or turns

Packaging dimensions are listed on each product page to help you confirm access before ordering.

If delivery cannot be completed due to insufficient access, redelivery may be required and additional fees may apply.


Additional Delivery Conditions

Certain delivery situations may require additional coordination or fees.

Situation Policy
Waiting beyond 30 minutes at delivery location Delivery may be cancelled and redelivery required. A $500 redelivery fee must be paid before rescheduling.
Missed appointment / customer not present Delivery marked as failed and redelivery fee may apply.
Redelivery due to customer-related issue $500 redelivery fee required before rescheduling.
Refusal of delivery (buyer’s remorse, item does not fit, or access unavailable) Order remains non-refundable due to custom production.
Stair carries beyond 2 flights without elevator access Additional service may be required. Please notify us before shipping.
Deliveries requiring smaller trucks, ferries, or permits $250 delivery adjustment fee arranged before shipping.
Storage fees from freight terminal Typically $50–$75 per day depending on shipment size, charged by the carrier if delivery cannot be scheduled promptly.

All delivery logistics and special circumstances will be reviewed during the Pre-Shipment OCOCHI Courtesy Call.


If You Are Unavailable for Delivery

If you expect to be unavailable when your order arrives — for example if you are traveling, out of town, on vacation, or otherwise unable to receive delivery — please inform us as early as possible.

In many cases we can adjust shipment timing or coordinate delivery scheduling to accommodate your availability.

If a shipment reaches the local freight terminal and delivery cannot be scheduled promptly, the carrier may apply daily storage fees until delivery is arranged.

Any applicable storage charges will be communicated to you by the freight carrier at that time.


Cancellations & Returns

All bed frames are custom-made to order.

Because of this:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun

  • Bed frames cannot be returned

  • All sales are final

Please carefully confirm measurements, specifications, packaging dimensions, and delivery access conditions before placing your order.

In rare circumstances where additional shipping or delivery fees may apply due to special delivery conditions, orders remain non-cancellable once production has begun.


Damages & Claims

Please inspect your shipment upon delivery.

If visible damage is present:

  • Note the damage on the delivery receipt

  • Take photographs immediately

Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the affected item.


Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Accidents

  • Labor strikes

  • Carrier delays
